Taran's Jaggo Ceremony: A Night of Laughter, Light, and Love
Wedding traditions pulse through the lifeblood of families, and for Taran, they beat the loudest in the joyful rhythm of her Jaggo ceremony. A deeply cherished Punjabi pre-wedding celebration, the Jaggo spills over with laughter, music, and the anticipation of a lifetime shared.
Taran's parents' home in Brampton transformed into a riot of color and light. Every corner rang with joyous Punjabi folk songs as Taran's friends and family danced beneath a canopy of twinkling lights. The air hummed with blessings whispered and playful teasing as the bride-to-be was showered with love and vibrant gifts.
The centrepiece of the night was an ornate copper pot, the 'jaggo', adorned with candles. Carried aloft by her Masi as the women sang and danced, it was a beacon of warmth and celebration, symbolizing the light they wished for the couple's path.

It was a tapestry woven with laughter: the girls playfully trying to out-dance each other, the aunties exchanging knowing smiles, and Taran herself, a radiant mix of excitement and the quiet joy of a woman on the cusp of her new life.
